Headquartered in Seamer, a small village near Stokesley in North Yorkshire, Labman has enjoyed sustained success, with a 23% increase in turnover last year, reaching £15 million. In addition to its headquarters, the company has offices in Bracknell and Liverpool. Labman is now embarking on bold steps to double its production capacity with the construction of a new, purpose-built facility.

This state-of-the-art, three-story building, scheduled for completion in 2025, will be connected to Labman’s existing headquarters, almost doubling the floor space at the company’s Seamer site. The expansion will create more space for the assembly of custom projects and products, enabling Labman to meet the growing demands of its expanding customer base, which includes some of the world’s largest corporations.

The expanded site is expected to accommodate an additional 150 employees by 2025, marking a significant milestone in the company’s development. As part of this growth plan, Labman intends to recruit 50 new team members over the next 12 months, further enhancing its current workforce of 150. This recruitment drive presents a prime opportunity for individuals passionate about engineering to join a company known for fostering creativity and innovation.

Labman attributes its ongoing success to the talent and enthusiasm of its employees. Managing Director Ian Riley stated

"Our workforce is the heart of everything we do. Their creativity and dedication are what make it possible for us to push boundaries and deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance science across a wide range of industries."

While Labman serves a global customer base, the company takes particular pride in representing North-East England, a region rapidly gaining recognition as a hub for innovation. With a growing network of businesses in the pharmaceutical, medical, energy, agriscience, and coatings sectors, North Yorkshire presents exciting opportunities for collaboration.
