Utilising Labman’s tried and tested Systems Development Lifecycle for GAMP category 5 systems, we have a proven track record for delivering cutting-edge automation projects into pharmaceutical manufacturing.Labman’s GAMP 5 system development lifecycles
Labman excels in designing, developing, and validating systems for diverse clients, spanning CDMOs to manufacturing solutions providers. With expertise in technology and quality management, Labman transforms novel concepts into GMP-compliant solutions.- Automation projects at Labman generally involve an element of novelty within the hardware, software, process or integration requirements of the system. Labman work with customers to assess the novelty and develop a series of validated user requirements. This often involves the need for prototype development and validation.
- Labman’s internal mechanical, electrical and software engineering teams work together to create detailed design documentation for the system. This is continuously reviewed with customer subject matter experts to ensure all key requirements are incorporated.
- Labman manufacture the system in their state-of-the-art factory in North Yorkshire. System operation and development ahead of first-time use is carried out in collaboration with customer subject matter experts. Change control processes ensure that the finished system meets with the requirements.
- System commissioning involves comprehensive testing and validation of performance against the system requirements. Pre-approved system testing protocols are utilised to aid transition of the system to the customer site.
- The SDLC is thoroughly documented by specialist Labman engineers in line with the guidelines of GAMP 5. Systems are supplied with a full complement of operational and maintenance manuals to enable implementation and ongoing use within GMP manufacture.
