The Innovation Radar is an initiative of the European Commission that identifies high-potential innovations and the organisations behind them, emerging from EU-funded research and innovation projects. Its goal is to highlight breakthrough technologies and help them gain visibility, accelerate their development, and support their journey to market.

The first technology featured on the Innovation Radar is Labman’s 64-channel electrochemical potentiostat. This compact, high-throughput device is purpose-built for biosensing and point-of-care applications. With the ability to carry out simultaneous measurements across 64 channels, it delivers significantly faster data collection than traditional systems—all in a portable and scalable form.

The potentiostat has been recognised as Market Ready—a designation indicating that the innovation is technologically mature and backed by a strong commitment to commercialisation.

Also highlighted by the Innovation Radar is the ELEVATE device, developed in collaboration with international partners. ELEVATE is a portable screening device designed to improve access to HPV diagnostics in remote and underserved communities. It provides a practical, user-friendly solution for early detection of cervical cancer, where traditional medical infrastructure may be limited.

This recognition is a testament to the innovation’s potential to make a global health impact. Like the potentiostat, ELEVATE has also been marked as Market Ready, underscoring its maturity and commercial viability.

"It’s incredibly rewarding to see both of these technologies recognised by the Innovation Radar. The teams have worked hard to push the boundaries of what's possible in lab-on-a-chip solutions at point of care, and this recognition is a great reflection of that effort and ambition."
