Overview
The Horizon Mini™ automates large-scale sample production of Liquid Nanoparticles (LNP) using Micropore’s AXF™-Mini mixing devices.
The mixers operate under laminar flow conditions to encapsulate RNA with Lipids, forming nanoparticles. By adjusting flow rates and fluid ratios, users can directly influence the physical characteristics of the resulting nanoparticles. Input fluids are supplied to the Horizon Mini™ by connecting the flow paths to each pump’s inlet.
The Horizon Mini™ is designed for use in laboratory environments for process development, or within suitable classified environments (e.g., Grade A) for early-stage pharmaceutical clinical manufacturing.
