Labman were proud to be sponsoring the RSC’s Formulation Science & Technology Formula X conference at Manchester University this year.
Drawing scientists, industry leaders and students from across the world, this conference sought to highlight the direction of travel for the formulating industries, where more research and development is now aimed at developing the understanding before formulation occurs; all driving new innovation.
With the completion of the Formulation Engine for Liverpoool University’s Materials Innovation Factory last year, Labman is poised to be able to provide a lot of the automation tools required to take the latest advances in formulation forward at pace. A tour of the MIF was arranged for the latter part of the conference, allowing visitors a chance to see the capabilities of the Formulation Engine and to discuss how such a system could benefit their own research and development.
