Overview
Labman were approached by National Milk Records (NMR) to design and build a bespoke high throughput machine to dose and cap milk sample bottles. This resulted in us producing a floor standing system that, once the operator loads a tray, automatically doses pots with 0.05ml of preservative and caps them. The system is used by numerous operators so has to be intuitive and simple to operate. Throughput is kept to a maximum by the incorporation of a ‘Jack and Jill’ sliding bed. This allows a tray to be processed by the system while giving the operator access to load the next empty tray.
